THERE'S A NEW WORLD WAITING - Track ( 11 )
When I was a Communications Lineman, we'd drive the larger 10 Ton Bucket Trucks and had truck partners. Sometimes, at " Joint Meets " to work on poles alongside the phone and power companies, we'd have to wait for either of them to finish their work ( or vice versa ) before gettin' our turn. On one of these occasions ( after the truck was thoroughly cleaned and the stock was tallied, of course ), I offered to write a song for my truck partner's pending wedding. I asked him questions about his bride - his feelings, etc. So, for instance, he told me she had brown eyes = " Brown sweetness in their hue " ; The motif of their wedding was red and white = " Soft, red ribbons in her mind ", well, you get the point.
