If you were Kind Enough ( or, perhaps, Crazy Enough ) to remember, this is a remake of TRACK ( 5 ) “ Could Be “
The Beginning isn’t meant to be Lazy or Cruel - As you Listen to that One Synthesized Note, you can not only hear a Countless Variety of Real and Imagined “ Other Notes “ and Harmonies coming into play, but it also seems to force your mind to wait . . . for a Resolution as well ( . . . Perhaps IT IS a Cruel Trick after all [ ! ? ] ) . . . Also, Later, It makes you Wonder if it’s going to happen Again ! ( Even Trickier !! )
If I could have re-Created the Same Sound for this Song that I have in my little Noggin, then maybe I could have properly called it “ FUNK “ instead of “ Phunk “ . . . oh, well . . .
I think this is a Song that Challenges the Listener because it’ so Haphazard - Not Always having a Consistent and Predictable beat to follow ( if you don’t count the Pre-Packaged Loop I used at the end )
Anyhow, I guess the Main Question might be : “ Is It Listenable ? “ . . .
