TRACK ( 6 ) “ Comin’ On Back “ - This is what I might refer to as A Hot Mess ( ! )
As you listen to the first couple of minutes or so, you may get the Feeling that “ Somethin’s just not right “ but ( unless you’re an Avid Musician ) you just can’t seem to put your finger on it ; I could have cleaned it up, perfected the Timing, and prominently Showcased the Vocals, but instead, I purposefully left it in its Convoluted / Organic kind of State ( For Instance , even retaining the over-played Lead at @ 1 : 18 [ 78 seconds ] in )
I realize it’s, most likely, just a manipulation of my own justifications but, to me, it’s a Musical Synopsis of the Rituals Before, During, and After the proverbial “ One Night Stand “ - that ( sometimes ) Clumsy Awkwardness in the Beginning - Getting to know one another, and then, somehow, in some way, Things Start to Come Together . . .
