TRACK ( 5 ) “ Could Be “ - Way Back When, a group of us traveled to Las Vegas ( I think it may be somewhere in Nevada or somethin’ ) , including an Uncle. We both brought Guitars along and he’d also packed a small, portable 4 – Track Tape Recorder. I played Guitar and sang “ Could Be “ and then, after playing Lead a couple of times over that Playback, laid down the existing Lead on the Very First Take : )
My Uncle mailed me a Cassette Tape of the finished product which I eventually transferred to a Computer File and then to a Home Studio Recording Computer program and then, finally , to a CD : This is why the Quality of the Recording is so Degraded, but as far as my “ Lead – Playing Abilities “ go, I feel like this is about as close to “ Catchin’ Lightnin’ in a Bottle “ as I’m able to get, so I kept it “ As Is “ ( ! )
I think that if you’re a Discerning and Tolerant enough Listener, you may still be able to enjoy it . . . or, at least, I Hope so . . .
